Know your next step

  • Discuss your questions with a Loxone specialist
  • Explore the options and agree a sensible next step
  • Get an initial idea of the work involved

After the initial consultation, we agree planning and implementation to suit your property. Technical inspections and work start only when commissioned. Taking over an existing Loxone installation first requires an agreed, paid technical audit.

What happens after the free consultation?

Further diagnosis, planning and implementation are paid services. Labour costs €70–90 per hour including VAT. Required components are agreed separately. We agree the scope and costs before starting.

Which rooms do you use in the morning? What should happen when you leave? Which functions matter most to you? Your daily routines are the starting point for a useful smart-home plan.

At the free initial consultation, we discuss your wishes and construction progress. We can then agree the planning, interfaces and implementation with you and your electrician.

How the house responds in everyday life

Anyone who has lived in a well-automated house does not want a rigid system after that. You quickly get used to the house thinking ahead.

Morning

You wake up. The floor is already warm. The light comes on slowly. The house knew that before you opened your eyes.

You leave.

One command: alarm armed, appliances off, everything secured. On return the house is ready again. You no longer think about it.

Night

The house drops to night mode. Orientation lighting active, everything else off. You sleep. It watches.

Who is this for?

For homeowners who want to plan useful functions early, coordinate the trades and keep everyday controls simple.

What can go wrong

Planning started too late

If Loxone only comes in after the electrician, cables, flush-mount boxes and switch positions are missing. Re-chasing costs more than early planning.

No clear point of contact

Electrician, smart-home provider and site manager without coordination: costs time, money and nerves. In the end nobody is responsible.

No documentation after completion

Without a clean handover you no longer know after a year what is connected and how. Every change becomes a puzzle.

What happens when Loxone comes in too late

These are mistakes we see regularly. All of them were avoidable with early planning.

Missing cables

Flush-mount boxes, conduits and distribution panel capacity need to be chased in retrospectively. That costs money and shifts the schedule.

Wrong switch positions

Switches end up where the electrician placed them, not where they make sense for Loxone scenes.

Incompatible panel layout

Too little space for the Miniserver, incorrect protection. Retrofitting is barely possible without a surcharge.

Time pressure at commissioning

Loxone programming under time pressure ends in minimal scenes rather than a fully configured system.

What we deliver to the electrician

No loose arrangements. The electrician gets concrete documents from us, in time before laying cables.

Cable list with cross-sections per function
Switch positions and flush-mount box layout
Panel layout and Miniserver space requirements
Terminal assignment for all inputs and outputs
Protection plan for all Loxone circuits
Checklist per construction phase with sign-off points

Heating & shading: save energy without effort

In summer, blinds close automatically before the room heats up. In winter they open in sunshine. Underfloor heating starts 30 minutes before waking. Geofencing ensures the property is at temperature on arrival.

Frequently asked questions

As early as possible, ideally before the electrician lays cables. The earlier we are involved, the cleaner the integration runs.
